The S-list

The S-list

So, the S-list is exactly what it implies. It is a tool that allows you to put together a list of people or things you do not want to deal with (anymore).

If you do not know what the ‘S’ stands for, then we suggest you ask somebody. Or, you can have Merriam-Webster help you. We like to keep it clean here.

Believe it or not, this is a project management tool.

Overview of the S-list

Ok, ok. We know there are tools out there that allow you to do what our tool does. Maybe even better. However, we created one of our own, which is plain and simple. Easy to use. Moreover, it is a personal file that enables you to maintain some sort of privacy.

Using the tool

Firstly, to use S-list, you start by typing in a name or company, and some comments. Secondly, you can determine if they are good, bad, or neutral. In addition, you can decide if you want to show or hide that entry.

As you know, nothing lasts forever. So, you may want to do something like, remove an entry. Instead of deleting a row, you can set Show to No. This will blackout the entry. But, you can come back and show it, by setting Show to Yes.

Change a bad entry to good

Sometimes, you may have a change of view. Or, a person on the list may now be in good standing with you. Therefore, you should change their status to good. When you do that, you should update the comments to reflect the change.
